C&rsquo;est souvent une question de syst\u00e8me \u2014 ou plut\u00f4t d&rsquo;absence de syst\u00e8me. On peut avoir peu de t\u00e2ches et se sentir submerg\u00e9, ou en avoir beaucoup et rester serein.<\/p>\n<p>La diff\u00e9rence ne tient pas \u00e0 la charge, mais \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on dont on la traite. Le sentiment de d\u00e9bordement vient surtout de tout garder en t\u00eate, en m\u00eame temps, sans hi\u00e9rarchie.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi on se sent d\u00e9bord\u00e9<\/h2>\n<h3>Tout est gard\u00e9 en t\u00eate<\/h3>\n<p>Quand toutes les t\u00e2ches flottent dans l&rsquo;esprit, elles semblent toutes actives en permanence. Cette charge mentale \u00e9puise, ind\u00e9pendamment du travail r\u00e9el \u00e0 accomplir.<\/p>\n<h3>Rien n&rsquo;est hi\u00e9rarchis\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>Si tout para\u00eet \u00e9galement important, on ne sait par o\u00f9 commencer, et l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;agite sans avancer sur l&rsquo;essentiel. Un bon syst\u00e8me d\u00e9charge l&rsquo;esprit : il sait \u00e0 votre place ce qui est \u00e0 faire, et quand.<\/p>\n<p>Reprendre le contr\u00f4le ne consiste donc pas \u00e0 \u00ab tenir le coup \u00bb, mais \u00e0 mettre en place une structure qui rend le travail g\u00e9rable.<\/p>\n<h2>Ce que la conduite de programmes m&rsquo;a appris<\/h2>\n<p>En dirigeant des programmes, j&rsquo;ai vu des \u00e9quipes peu charg\u00e9es mais d\u00e9bord\u00e9es par le chaos, et d&rsquo;autres tr\u00e8s sollicit\u00e9es mais calmes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une structure claire : un suivi visible, des priorit\u00e9s d\u00e9finies, un tableau de bord. La charge \u00e9tait comparable ; le ressenti, oppos\u00e9. La structure faisait toute la diff\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n<h2>Comment ne plus se sentir d\u00e9bord\u00e9<\/h2>\n<h3>Tout sortir de sa t\u00eate<\/h3>\n<p>Notez l&rsquo;ensemble de vos t\u00e2ches au m\u00eame endroit, sans tri. Vider l&rsquo;esprit sur le papier ou un outil all\u00e8ge imm\u00e9diatement la charge mentale, m\u00eame avant d&rsquo;avoir rien fait.<\/p>\n<h3>Distinguer l&rsquo;important de l&rsquo;urgent<\/h3>\n<p>Tout ne se vaut pas. Le multit\u00e2che entretient le sentiment de d\u00e9bordement en gardant tout actif simultan\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<h3>Prot\u00e9ger un temps pour l&rsquo;essentiel<\/h3>\n<p>R\u00e9servez un cr\u00e9neau pour ce qui compte avant que l&rsquo;urgent ne d\u00e9vore la journ\u00e9e. Un peu d&rsquo;avanc\u00e9e quotidienne sur l&rsquo;essentiel suffit \u00e0 desserrer la pression.<\/p>\n<h2>Et ensuite ?<\/h2>\n<p>Sortir du d\u00e9bordement, c&rsquo;est mettre en place un syst\u00e8me simple \u2014 le c\u0153ur du pilier Continuit\u00e9.
