Elle se d\u00e9veloppe en pratiquant la bonne chose, de la bonne fa\u00e7on.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est pour cela que deux personnes peuvent fournir le m\u00eame nombre d&rsquo;heures et progresser tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9remment. La quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;effort compte moins que sa direction. Bien dirig\u00e9e, la pratique fait progresser vite ; mal dirig\u00e9e, elle entretient surtout ce qu&rsquo;on sait d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi on stagne malgr\u00e9 les efforts<\/h2>\n<p>La stagnation n&rsquo;est presque jamais un manque de travail. C&rsquo;est un travail mal cibl\u00e9. Deux m\u00e9canismes reviennent.<\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e9p\u00e9ter ce qu&rsquo;on sait d\u00e9j\u00e0<\/h3>\n<p>Il est agr\u00e9able de pratiquer ce qu&rsquo;on ma\u00eetrise : c&rsquo;est confortable et valorisant. Mais r\u00e9p\u00e9ter ses points forts ne fait pas progresser \u2014 cela polit ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 bon. Le progr\u00e8s se trouve dans l&rsquo;inconfort, pas dans l&rsquo;aisance.<\/p>\n<h3>Pratiquer sans retour<\/h3>\n<p>Sans retour, on ne sait pas si l&rsquo;on s&rsquo;am\u00e9liore ou si l&rsquo;on r\u00e9p\u00e8te une erreur. La pratique \u00e0 l&rsquo;aveugle peut m\u00eame ancrer de mauvaises habitudes. Le feedback n&rsquo;est pas un suppl\u00e9ment : c&rsquo;est ce qui transforme la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition en apprentissage.<\/p>\n<h2>La ma\u00eetrise est une pratique, pas un talent<\/h2>\n<p>Dans mon cadre de travail, la ma\u00eetrise est le troisi\u00e8me pilier. En arabe, \u0627\u0644\u0625\u062d\u0633\u0627\u0646 \u2014 ma\u00eetrise, qualit\u00e9, sinc\u00e9rit\u00e9, am\u00e9lioration continue. La ma\u00eetrise ici ne signifie pas la perfection ; elle d\u00e9signe un mouvement vers le mieux.<\/p>\n<p>Et ce mouvement n&rsquo;est pas r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux personnes \u00ab dou\u00e9es \u00bb. Une comp\u00e9tence se construit. Ce qu&rsquo;on prend pour du talent est presque toujours de la pratique bien orient\u00e9e, r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9e dans le temps.<\/p>\n<h2>La boucle d&rsquo;apprentissage : d\u00e9composer, cibler, corriger<\/h2>\n<p>Voici la m\u00e9thode que j&rsquo;utilise pour d\u00e9velopper une comp\u00e9tence \u2014 la mienne comme celle des personnes que j&rsquo;accompagne.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9composer la comp\u00e9tence en sous-comp\u00e9tences<\/h3>\n<p>\u00ab Mieux \u00e9crire \u00bb ou \u00ab mieux parler en public \u00bb sont trop larges pour \u00eatre travaill\u00e9s. D\u00e9coupez en parties pr\u00e9cises : la structure d&rsquo;un texte, l&rsquo;accroche, le rythme, la voix. On ne progresse pas sur un bloc ; on progresse sur des morceaux.<\/p>\n<h3>Cibler le maillon faible<\/h3>\n<p>Parmi ces morceaux, identifiez celui qui vous limite le plus. C&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que la pratique paie le plus. Travailler son maillon faible est inconfortable, mais c&rsquo;est exactement pour cela que c&rsquo;est efficace.<\/p>\n<h3>Obtenir un retour rapide<\/h3>\n<p>Cherchez un signal qui vous dit si vous vous am\u00e9liorez : un mentor, un enregistrement, une mesure, une comparaison \u00e0 un mod\u00e8le. Plus le retour est rapide, plus la correction est pr\u00e9cise et plus l&rsquo;apprentissage acc\u00e9l\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<h3>R\u00e9p\u00e9ter en augmentant la difficult\u00e9<\/h3>\n<p>Une fois un maillon am\u00e9lior\u00e9, relevez l\u00e9g\u00e8rement la barre, ou passez au maillon faible suivant. La comp\u00e9tence se construit par paliers : on consolide, puis on augmente la difficult\u00e9, sans jamais rester trop longtemps dans le confort.<\/p>\n<h2>Ce que l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nierie et l&rsquo;enseignement m&rsquo;ont appris<\/h2>\n<p>Ing\u00e9nieur de formation, j&rsquo;ai appris \u00e0 d\u00e9composer un probl\u00e8me complexe en \u00e9l\u00e9ments simples avant de le r\u00e9soudre. La m\u00eame logique s&rsquo;applique \u00e0 l&rsquo;apprentissage d&rsquo;une comp\u00e9tence : on isole, on travaille, on recombine.<\/p>\n<p>Plus tard, en enseignant l&rsquo;entrepreneuriat et en accompagnant comme coach ex\u00e9cutif certifi\u00e9, j&rsquo;ai vu que les personnes qui progressaient le plus n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas les plus \u00ab talentueuses \u00bb. C&rsquo;\u00e9taient celles qui acceptaient un retour fr\u00e9quent et qui pratiquaient pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qu&rsquo;elles ma\u00eetrisaient le moins.<\/p>\n<h2>Trois erreurs qui ralentissent l&rsquo;apprentissage<\/h2>\n<p>Pratiquer trop large, sans d\u00e9couper la comp\u00e9tence. Pratiquer sans retour, donc sans correction. Et fuir l&rsquo;inconfort en r\u00e9p\u00e9tant ses points forts. \u00c9vitez ces trois pi\u00e8ges et la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;effort produit bien plus de progr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<h2>Et ensuite ?<\/h2>\n<p>Une comp\u00e9tence se construit par la pratique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re \u2014 ce qui relie la ma\u00eetrise au pilier Continuit\u00e9. Un retour imparfait vaut mieux qu&rsquo;une pratique \u00e0 l&rsquo;aveugle.<\/p>\n<h3>Vaut-il mieux apprendre plusieurs comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 la fois ?<\/h3>\n<p>Mieux vaut concentrer ses efforts sur une comp\u00e9tence, voire un seul maillon faible \u00e0 la fois.
